We are pleased to welcome all the researchers in the field of Civil Engineering to the 4^th Series of International Summit on Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering (ISCSEE2026), which will be held in Prague, Czech Republic during July 23-25, 2026

Following the resounding success of the first series held in March, 2023 in Rome, Italy and second series held in March 2024 in Florence, Italy and third series held in July, 2025 in Frankfurt, Germany which featured a fabulous lineup of speakers. Building on this momentum, ISCSEE2026 is set to be even more remarkable. This event will unite global experts to explore critical topics in Civil, Structural, and Environmental disciplines.

ISCSEE2026 provides a platform of international standards where you can discuss and share knowledge on Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering to bring a unique forum for exchanging the information regarding the latest developments, finding solutions and enriching the knowledge. Prof. Suksun Horpibulsuk obtained a B.Eng. (Civil Engineering) with Honors Award from Khon Kaen University, Thailand in 1996. Prof. Suksun was subsequently granted a scholarship by the Royal Thailand Government to pursue a M.Eng. in Soil Engineering at Asian Institute of Technology and duly completed in 1998. He then received a prestigious MONBUSHO scholarship from the Japanese Government to pursue his Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering at Saga University in Japan that he duly completed in 2001. Prof. Suksun joined Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) as a lecturer in 2002. His outstanding research, teaching and service for the university, community and profession over the years was duly recognized when he was promoted to the level of full professor in 2010. He is an associate fellow of The Royal Society of Thailand, as well as a professor of School of Civil Engineering and a founder director of Center of Excellence in Innovation for Sustainable Infrastructure Development at SUT. He is also an Academic Senate member of SUT and Rajamangala University of Technology Isan. He is presently the president of the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS) – Thailand Chapter, an adjunct professor at Swinburne University of Technology, Australia and a visiting professor at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia. He also serves as an editor and reviewer for several prestigious national and international journals. His most significant contributions have been in the field of ground improvement techniques and pavement engineering, specifically issues associated with compaction, earth reinforcement, chemical stabilization and sustainable rigid and flexural pavements. He has been awarded a large number of competitive research grantstotalling US$10 million. He has published extensively with over 500 technical publications, including over 400 in leading journals. He has a H-index of 81 (Scopus), 12000+ citations and currently averages 1890 (Scopus) citations per annum. He is a senior professional engineer accredited by Council of Engineers, Thailand and science and technology professional in engineering geology accredited by Council of Science and Technology Professionals, Thailand. He has received Telford Premium Prize from Institution of Civil Engineers, London, UK in 2023.Due to his outstanding contributions for the profession and community as well as his national and international recognition, he was nominated as a TRF Senior Scholar in 2013 and 2016 by the Thailand Research Fund. He received an Outstanding National Researcher award in 2019 from National Research Council of Thailand, a Chair Professor award in 2020 from National Science and Technology Development Agency and Science and Technology Award in 2023 from Thailand Toray Science Foundation .

Dr. Ken Yeang

Ken Yeang is an architect, ecologist and author known for his pioneering work on ecological architecture (since 1971). His work integrates ecology-based principles with architectural structures promoting environmentally-positive ecological biointegration and outcomes. The architecture is differentiated by its nature-centric design based on the science of ecology. He is regarded by many to have invented a systems-based ecological architecture. His work is topical in the face of a planet threatened by environmental catastrophe. What makes his architecture motivating is its compelling signature green aesthetic. His instructive ideas and built work are arrived through an ongoing research programme. The work seeks to regenerate a planet ravaged by urbanisation and callous technological systems. The outcome of his work is published in his many books that enable a deeper understanding of ecological design (in www.amazon.com). The credibility is in his built work, recognised by the awards that include the Aga Khan Award, Prinz Claus Award, Auguste Perret Award (UIA), LiangSiCheng Award (Architectural Society of China), Merdeka Award (Government of Malaysia), Malaysia Institute of Architects Gold Medal (PAM), and the accolades from peers and leading figures in the field. His built work includes: Mesiniaga Tower (IBM) (Malaysia), Suasana Putrajaya (Malaysia), Solaris Tower (Singapore), Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital Extension (London), Nitte University Masterplan (Mangalore, India), National Library (Singapore) and others. Ken was trained at the Architectural Association School (London). He completed a doctorate at Cambridge University (published as Designing With Nature, (McGraw-Hill, 1985) that became his lifetime’s agenda. He is Fellow (Hon.) of Wolfson College (Cambridge), corporate member RIBA, Fellow (Hon.) American Institute Architects, Fellow Singapore Institute of Architects, Past-President Malaysia Institute of Architects. The Guardian identified him as ‘one of the 50 people who could save the Planet’.

Peking University

Estovio Timothy is a Predoctoral Fellow at the College of Engineering, Peking University in Beijing, China, and a Structural Engineer at Shanghai Construction Group Co., Ltd. in Shanghai. At Peking University, he is also involved as both a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant, supporting work in finite element methods, fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, ordinary differential equations, and probability. Alongside this, he is a Graduate Student in Civil Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, USA, where he received the Departmental Award for Research Excellence, and he has also been recognized as an awardee of the MIT Data, Economics, and Design of Policy (DEDP) program. His research focuses on performance-based, multi-objective optimization of aerodynamically tuned core-tube systems for supertall buildings in hurricane-prone environments. By combining aerodynamic simulations, finite element analysis, and evolutionary optimization algorithms, he explores how to enhance structural resilience against extreme wind loads while improving efficiency and sustainability. Earlier in his career, he developed Indonesia’s first comprehensive wind hazard map and carried out pioneering studies on tornado-induced wind fragility, work that significantly improved the regional understanding of extreme wind effects on structures. Professionally, Estovio has been closely involved in the design of landmark projects, including an 85-story, 301.5 m tower for his master’s thesis and the tallest building in Indonesia and the Southern Hemisphere, a 385 m supertall tower. These projects built his expertise in lateral load–resisting systems, aerodynamic design strategies, and the complex behavior of tall structures under multiple hazards. His international project portfolio covers China, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Australia, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, Timor-Leste, and Mongolia, giving him broad exposure to different design codes, construction practices, and climate challenges. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering through an accelerated fast-track program. Currently preparing to pursue a Ph.D., his research interests revolve around multi-hazard disaster risk reduction, performance optimization of high-rise structures, and the development of climate-adaptive, low-carbon urban infrastructure that bridges research and real-world practice.
